Childhood Dinosaurs - “Im little little dinosaur I’ll bite your tail and make it saur.”

I’ve been carrying this tiny notebook around for years. It contains some of the oldest drawings of mine. It’s pretty damn funny.

I loved dinosaurs as a kid and my whole family was on a huge Land Before Time kick for years.

And even as a child I always admired huge fantasy epics with a large cast and a whole world created around them.

We’ve got the map of dino land, the Sun Tower which the bad guy, Spike, wants to “concor”. But, of course, he needs to get one of the two keys (show in the notebook “inlarged”) from either our hero, Little Dino or the king in order to do that.

The last 6 pics show the extra pages I found in the back of the notebook where my little brother, Tim, added his contributions to the cast. And thus came the storming of the Sun Tower by a giant gunship. How did Spike learn to fly? I bet Jock, that dirty Pirate Leader, has something to do with it.

So yeah, I took some dinosaurs out to the park to take photos of like I was thinking last night. Only I brought my little brothers and had them choose places and showed them how to use my camera so I didn’t feel quite as embarrassed doing playing with toys in the park :p

I got a few shots that I like, though :)
